Frequently asked questions
Horizon GMS is a golf-specific digital management environment that connects your club’s website, member relationships, communications, commercial activities and internal workflows within one structured platform. It helps golf organizations reduce digital fragmentation while improving clarity across the operation.
Horizon GMS addresses common challenges such as disconnected websites and member systems, duplicated data entry, fragmented communication, overlapping software expenditure, unclear responsibilities and limited management visibility. The objective is to create a more coherent digital environment for the people who run the club.
Horizon GMS is broader than a standalone tee-sheet or booking solution. It creates a structured digital foundation connecting the club’s public presence, member experience, communications, commercial services and management workflows. Existing specialist systems may remain in place where appropriate.
Horizon GMS can be configured around an organization’s current digital ecosystem. During the discovery phase, Horizon reviews the existing website, CRM, booking, payment, communication and operational tools to determine the most appropriate implementation approach. Available integrations depend on the systems concerned and the agreed project scope.
Many golf technology products focus primarily on one function, such as bookings, payments, POS or membership administration. Horizon GMS focuses on the structure connecting these activities: the digital experience, workflows, responsibilities, communication and management visibility surrounding the club’s operations.
Depending on the selected scope, Horizon GMS can support:Website and Digital Clubhouse managementMember and visitor journeysClub communicationsEvents and commercial activitiesInternal coordination and responsibilitiesManagement information and reportingProgressive connection with other Horizon modules
A standard implementation is organized through discovery, scope confirmation, content and data preparation, configuration, validation, launch and adoption review. The timeline depends on the club’s size, existing systems, content readiness and selected modules. A phased implementation plan is confirmed before work begins and is usually between 7 to 10 business days.
Horizon GMS combines a recurring platform subscription with an initial implementation and onboarding fee. Pricing depends on the selected package, number of facilities, website requirements, integrations, data migration and implementation scope. Following an initial demonstration, Horizon can prepare a proposal adapted to your organization.
